February 7, 2020: Public Notice of CCA acceptance for bids on its 660 Winchester Avenue Renovation 

LEGAL NOTICE: 

 

Christian Community Action (CCA) Inc. will receive sealed bids for renovation of its 660 Winchester Avenue site in New Haven until March 5, 2020 at 2:00 pm.

 

SCOPE OF WORK: involves making exterior improvements that include masonry repointing and window installation and interior improvements in the 19 apartment units that include installing flooring, cabinets, baseboard radiation, public bathrooms and flooring in the hallways on the second and third floor.

 

The base bid includes making improvements to some of the flooring, some of the cabinets, and some of the baseboard radiation in place with repairs. Alternate bids can include installing all new finish flooring, all new cabinets, and all new baseboard radiation.

 

The bid package will be available at the PRE-BID CONFERENCE and WALK THROUGH at 660 Winchester Avenue on Thursday, February 13, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. or CCA’s offices at 168 Davenport Avenue, in New Haven on weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., excluding holidays.

 

Because this is a federally funded project, all bidders must meet the Davis Bacon Wage requirements of minimum wage rates, nondiscrimination/equal opportunity rules, and related provisions.

 

Every bidder must submit a 5% Bid Security with this bid, and a 100% Performance/Payment Bond is due upon signing the contract.

 

It is the vendor’s responsibility to check CCA’s website for any addendums. This information can be viewed at their website www.ccahelping.org

 

All bids are due at Christian Community Action’s offices located, 168 Davenport Avenue, New Haven, Connecticut, 06519, on Thursday March 5th, 2020 no later than 2:00 p.m.
